Urbane Media Network Private Limited Terms and condition

These terms and conditions (“Terms and Conditions”) govern your use of the Prepaid physical One Urbane Card (“Urbane Card”). This Urbane Card is the property of Urbane Media Network Private Limited (“UMPL”) to whom it must be returned, upon request or if found. The following terms and conditions shall apply to the prepaid account of your Urbane Card. By using your Urbane Card, you agree to the below-mentioned Terms and Conditions. Please ensure that you have read carefully and understood these Terms and Conditions before using your Urbane Card and also request you to keep a copy of these Terms and Conditions for your records. You further agree that by using the Urbane Card or by quoting the Urbane Card number to any of the UMPL’s store/s located in India, you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted the detailed Terms and Conditions of the Urbane Card.

Eligibility:

To be eligible for the Urbane Card membership, you should be competent to contract i.e. you should have attained the age of majority according to the Indian law. Urbane Card is not targeted towards, nor intended for use by anyone who has not attained the age of majority. Any person under the age of 18 may only use the Urbane Card under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

About Your Account:

Urbane Card is issued to you by UMPL. This is a prepaid card which can be used as an ideal gift for your friend, loved one, or for yourself. Urbane Card purchased in India can only be used in Urbane Media Network stores located in India. Urbane Card issued in markets other than India will not be able to be used in Urbane Media Network stores in India. It cannot be replaced if lost, stolen, or destroyed unless you have registered it and reported the loss as described below. The value associated with the Urbane Card is not insured or guaranteed by any person or entity unless the card is a Registered Card.

The rupee value that you load onto your Urbane Card is a prepayment only for purchasing the goods and availing the services of Urbane Media Network stores in India unless otherwise specified. Urbane Card can be purchased by paying either through Cash / Credit Card / Debit Card only.

Urbane Card can be loaded using either cash/credit card/debit card at any of the Urbane Media Network stores. One Urbane Card cannot be reloaded by using any other registered/unregistered Urbane Card.

We reserve the right not to accept any Urbane Card or otherwise limit use of an Urbane Card if we reasonably believe that the use is unauthorized, fraudulent, or otherwise unlawful. Further, misuse of the Urbane Card or its benefits in any manner may result in the termination of the validity of the Card and/or withdrawal of benefits at the sole discretion of UMPL.

Please maintain the Urbane Card safely. You will only be able to protect the balance of your Urbane Card by registering it on rewards.urbane.in/sign-in or on the Urbane India mobile app.

Loading Value on Your Card:

Urbane Card can be purchased by paying either through Cash / Credit Card / Debit Card by visiting any of the Urbane Media Network stores located in India. Urbane Card can be used as a mode of payment whenever the Urbane Card-holder visits the Urbane Media Network store. You may not load more than Rs.5000 worth of value to your Urbane Card. The minimum amount that must be initially loaded onto your Urbane Card is Rs.200. Post the initial load of Rs.200, you will be able to load the Urbane Card in multiples of Rs.100. The balance on the Urbane Card does not have a validity or expiry period. UMPL may change the maximum and minimum amounts at any time by notifying you at the point of sale, or on the Urbane India website (www.urbane.in), and such change shall not constitute an amendment to these Terms and Conditions. No credit card, credit line, overdraft protection, or deposit account is associated with an Urbane Card. This card is not a credit/debit/ATM card. The balance loaded onto your Urbane Card is non-refundable and may not be exchanged for cash or credit balance unless required by law in India. No interest, dividends, or any other earnings on funds deposited to an Urbane Card will accrue or be paid or credited to you by UMPL.

All amounts loaded onto your Urbane Card are held and denominated in Indian Rupees. When you make a purchase at an Urbane Media Network store in India in a different currency, the transaction total is converted from the different currency to the Indian Rupees. No fees or other charges are made to your Urbane Card for the conversion. The balance shown on your receipt will be in Indian Rupees. Transactions that occur on our website are denominated in Indian Rupees. Currency conversions are based on currency exchange rates applicable on the date of the transaction.

Fees and Expiration of Card Balances:

UMPL does not charge any fees for the issuance, activation, use, or reloading of your Urbane Card. Your Urbane Card has no expiration date.

Receipts and Statements:

Urbane Card holders are not sent statements of itemized transactions on their registered email id from an Urbane Card account. You can check the balance of your Urbane Card or review recent transactions on your Urbane Card at rewards.urbane.in/sign-in. You will need to have your Urbane Card available in order to make purchases for the goods and availing the services at Urbane Media Network stores in India. The account balance for an Urbane Card also will appear on your receipt from a point-of-sale Electronic Data Capture (EDC) machine. When you use your Urbane Card, you will receive a receipt but will not be asked to sign the receipt. The receipt will indicate that the purchase was made using an Urbane Card and will provide the remaining balance of your Urbane Card. You should store your receipts and check your online statement to ensure that your account balance is correct.

Billing Errors, Corrections:

We reserve the right to correct the balance of your Urbane Card account if we believe that a clerical, billing, or accounting error has occurred. If you have questions regarding your transaction history or any correction, or if you dispute any transaction or correction that has been assessed against your Urbane Card, please email us at customercare@tatastarbucks.com. We will conduct an investigation and communicate the results and correct any error that we verify as soon as we complete the investigation. If no error was found, we will communicate an explanation to you. We shall have no liability for any billing error unless you provide to us notice within 60 days of the date of the transaction in question. You are requested to monitor your transactions and account balances accurately.

Registration, Liability for Unauthorized Transactions:

To register your Card, please visit rewards.urbane.in/sign-in or use the Urbane India mobile app.

You are responsible for all transactions associated with your Urbane Card, including unauthorized transactions. If your Urbane Card is lost, stolen, destroyed or damaged, please access your www.urbaneshows.com account and report lost/stolen Urbane Card, or contact us immediately at 022- 65296888 or email to us at customercare.
